Heroes Holiday Club

St George's held a Holiday Club for 5 to 11s during May half term.

Coordinated by Interns Sam Pritchard and Nick Lattimer, the theme for the week was 'Heroes', and activities included songs, stories, drama, games, craft and some custard pies in the face!

James Barnett gave the teaching during the week, using the Biblical heroes of Peter, Paul and Lydia to illustrate how we can be heroes for God. He explained the four points of Christianity to the children: God loves me, I have sinned, Jesus died for me and I have to make a decision to follow him.

The week was rounded up with a Family Worship service on Sunday 31 May, presented by Batman and Superman. Mr Incredible led the worship.
