Service times

Sundays are a focal part of life at St George's as we come together to worship, to pray, to learn, and to enjoy spending time with one another.

10:30am

An informal service of worship, teaching and ministry, with young people’s activities for 0-11s in the Church Centre, and some of the Roots cells meeting around the church buildings. We celebrate communion together once a month, and coffee and refreshments are available at the end of the service. Explorers begins at 10.20am, unless the children are starting in church first - look out for ‘ICF’ (In Church First) in the church diary.

5pm & 7.30pm

The evening services are slightly more informal, yet still focus on worship, teaching and ministry. Communion is celebrated once a month, and refreshments are served in between the two services in the church foyer. These services adopt a more contemporary style of worship, and the 7.30pm service has a slightly longer period of prayer and ministry at the end of the service. Otherwise, the two services are broadly similar, so feel free to come to whichever you please!
