Small Groups
Small Groups at St George's are the heartbeat of church life. They provide a safe place in which we can make friends, develop gifts and ministries, and grow together as disciples of Jesus.
Small Groups are based on three values. Everything we do within these groups has a dimension of:
- UP: developing intimacy with God
- IN: developing intimacy with each other
- OUT: building the Kingdom of God through mission
We encourage people to commit to a Small Group as a key part of being a member of St George's.
Some Small Groups are aimed at specific groups within the church, such as Play and Pray (a group for parents with young children) and Wednesday Fellowship (for older members of the congregation), but most groups are open to all.

Joining a Small Group
There are a variety of ways to join a Small Group at St George's. Perhaps the best way is when church members invite friends or those that they meet on Sundays to their Small Group. But if you are new to the church and do not know anyone, we can help you to find a group. It’s up to you which group you settle at. You may wish to try one or two before committing yourself.
