The St George's Internship is a one or two year scheme designed for those who want to discern their calling whilst serving the church.

Our vision is for the Interns to be a strong team. A team built on mutual trust, honesty and encouragement; a team where the individual is not just concerned with their own development, but the growth of those around them.
The Internship covers a whole range of learning experiences throughout the year. We practice various spiritual disciplines, including reading the Bible in a year, prayer and fasting. The Interns are a part of our School of Theology, which teaches material from the Vineyard Bible Institute.
We want to discover and develop leaders for the Kingdom of God. We look for people who want to explore their leadership potential, whilst being given the opportunity to take the lead in various ministries within St George's. Areas that are currently served by Interns include communications, youth, mission, children, students and worship leading. We are always looking and willing to listen to ideas for expanding the areas that Interns could be involved in. During the year each of the Interns comes under the care of a mentor.
At the heart of all we do at St George's is a desire to grow deeper and deeper in our relationship with God. So we look for a team of people who will commit themselves to seeking a deeper relationship with Jesus both throughout the Internship year and beyond.
The year offers an ideal opportunity for people to explore the different callings they may feel God has put upon their lives.
The call to leadership is a call to serve and so the Interns are expected to give themselves fully to the service of the church, and each other, in whatever form that requires. Each Intern is line managed by a member of staff.
