ST GEORGE'S WORSHIP MINISTRY (SGWM)
Helping facilitate the individual and corporate worship life of the church

SGWM operates on a One vision // Three values policy.
The vision is to: 'Know God and make Him known'.

The first value is that we commit to Spiritual Development.
We believe that being part of the SGWM is a great privilege and a great responsibility. Our goal is to build a team of true worshippers who are passionate about God, His word, and His people and who recognise that they can not lead people where they have not been themselves. We believe that worship is far more than just a Sunday offering, it's a daily life offering. To help each member grow in this area, we encourage the attendance of our termly SGWM Forum, the joining of a Small Group and an accountable relationship with a person(s) who will love, support and challenge through this incredible journey of knowing God and making him known.

The second value is that we commit to Practical Development.
We believe that we are called to serve God and His people skilfully. Our goal is to build a team of true worshippers who use and are continually looking to develop the gifts God has given them to serve with. We have ongoing and focused training opportunities for our Singers // Musicians // Tech Team, and we also offer monthly feedback to help aid development in this area. Finally, we run a worship leader development course called 'Devoted' for those who want to test and grow in the call of being a corporate worship leader with the vision to Know God and make Him known.

The third value is that we commit to Team Development.
We believe that we are to be a team who belong to one another. Our goal is to build a team of true worshippers who are like minded, one in spirit and purpose, who humbly consider others better than themselves, always trying to have the same attitude of Jesus. We ask that members of the team would pray, support, encourage, challenge and invest in each other as we all look to journey forward in Knowing God and making Him known both individually and corporately.
