Rev Bassi Mirzania

Anglican Chaplain to the Persian Community in the UK
Bassi’s ministry is to assist Churches throughout the UK in the development of their ministry amongst Persians/Iranians and to advise and support church leaders and lay people in responding to those enquiring about the Christian faith. She provides guidance to churches in welcoming Farsi speaking people into their congregation, helping with the inter-cultural aspect, and visits those churches throughout the UK with Farsi speaking groups. As well as being involved locally in the monthly Persian Fellowship at St Luke’s Church, London, the weekly Farsi group at Christ Church, Guildford Bassi frequently is asked to speak across the UK and give help and advice to clergy and Farsi speaking converts seeking asylum in Britain. This ministry needs your ongoing prayers and support, and depends on voluntary gifts.

Leeds Christian Community Trust (LCCT)

For more information visit www.lcct.org.uk
LCCT is there to enable, encourage and support Christians, working in unity and in mission, to pursue their dreams and visions and make a positive difference in Leeds. This is done by providing a legal and support structure to allow projects to focus on what they're passionate about, without forcing them to deal with the bureaucratic pressures normally associated with setting up a new initiative. In addition to this, 'seed funding' and development support is provided to help those with the vision and initiative to do what they need to do to transform the city.

Leeds Youth Cell Network (LYCN)

For more information visit www.leedsyouthcells.co.uk
Leeds Youth Cell Network works to help churches work together in delivering youth discipleship. Over 120 young people, many not yet part of churches, enjoyed the February weekends away, ‘I will always remember this trip as the time I fully said YES to God’ Jade 15 said.
The cells meet locationally with the intention of discipleship and sharing their faith, and also draw strength from each other in joint mission. Please pray for our summer plans, we expect a hundred young people to give themselves to serving on the Hope hub, a five day residential aimed to equip and send out young missionaries to support six different clusters of churches in mission.
