St George's Church has a thriving cricket club which is always on the look-out for new members. We play friendly cricket mostly at Harewood House on Saturday afternoons, and midweek evening fixtures from May to September.

The club has been running since 1976; since 1990 we have toured over the August bank holiday in the Lake District. In 2005 we won the National Christian Cricket Cup, thrashing a number of other churches and Christian groups. We play over 30 matches per year and have a Junior team that plays Saturday mornings up at Harewood.
