The “Moortown Group” has people form Moortown,
Chapel Allerton, Gledhow and Alwoodley. We are predominantly a group of busy working people, for whom leisure time is at a premium. This means we don’t like our meetings to be too heavy and we like variety. A typical term might include watching an England match with a few
beers, some bible studies, a prayer evening based around the news, a liturgical evening, a bring-and-share meal, music and readings around a theme, and catering for the Alpha Course. We work co-operatively sharing the leading and hosting between us. Prayer support is very important to us and is always a part of our meetings. We welcome anyone, of any age, who likes the sound of our group.
