At StG'S we want to equip children and families at St George’s and across Leeds to be lifelong followers of Jesus, by knowing who God is, who He has created us to be and how we can impact the world in the power and love of Jesus.
On Sundays at our 10:30 gathering, children register in the foyer of church before the service. If it is your first time, we take a few details and you will be told which group your children will be in and where they meet.
Our groups are:
Wrigglers: Age 6 months-2
First Steps: Age 2-4
Next Steps: Age 4-6 (School Years Reception - Year 1)
6-11s: Age 6-11 (School Years 2-6)
Children & Families Events
Tuesdays, 10am - 11:30am (term time), St George's Church
STG's Tots is our mid-week group for babies, pre-schoolers and their carers. There is plenty of space for play, crafts, singing, toast and a Bible Story time. There's also plenty of opportunity for the grown ups to enjoy quality coffee and time and space to chat and connect with others. We have a buggy park in the church centre, just next door, so park your buggies there before walking up the steps! There will be somebody there to help if needed.
STG's Tots: Hungry?
Following STG's Tots, 11:30am - 12:30pm, St George's Church
Our ‘Hungry?’ group meets fortnightly, straight after STG's Tots. It is for anyone who needs a bit of space in their day for a child-free lunch! Whether you’re struggling, lonely, thriving, or a mixture of all three, this is a place where you can come and not be judged. It’s also for anyone who would like to explore some of life’s big questions, and think a little deeper, whether you’re a Christian, from a different faith background or have no faith at all.
The children are looked after in a nearby room whilst they eat lunch and watch cbeebies. Children who are unsettled/too young are welcome to stay in the room with you. Bring some lunch along for you and your little one(s) and come and join us!
